After an early breakfast you will drive to Bwindi Impenetrable forest. You will be accompanied by an English speaking driver guide in a 4WD vehicle. You will have a lunch stop in Mbarara town and then continue through the verdant countryside to Bwindi arriving late in the afternoon. You will arrive in the aprk in the afternoon and there you will have your lunch after which you will have a boat ride on the lake itself. Following an early breakfast you will head to the park headquarters where you will be briefed before going gorilla trekking. The trek takes anything between 2 and 8 hours basing on how far the gorillas have moved. Trekking requires physical fitness since at times it may be really tiring. After you’ve had a quick breakfast you are to head out to the park Headquarters for a briefing by the Ranger guide and there you will be divided into trekking groups depending on the permit you have after which you will head into the Impenetrable woods. Here you will crossways with different primates, colored butterflies, birds and a variety of plant species.

 

Gorilla tracking requires one to be physically fit since there is a lot of lengthy walking and climbing which is usually done before you actually meet with the gorillas.
